Homestead Etiquette

It’s not to be bossy, this is our home, so things just have to be a certain way.

We are not responsible for any accidents or injuries.

No Pets Allowed:

No pets allowed on homestead. For the safety of our animals no pets of any kind are allowed on the homestead. Although our LGD Duke loves all of our human homestead guests, but he is serious about his job protecting our animals. He will not be comfortable with your pet. No matter big or little your fur baby is don’t bring it to the homestead.

This means in your vehicles also. A barking dog behind a car window still attracts the protectiveness of our LGD.

No Chasing Chickens:

Our chickens are free range 365 days and are comfortable and safe in their environment here on the homestead. Chasing them will cause them stress and our Rooster’s jobs are to protect the Hens .

Just don’t chase them. They’re more fun to just watch and listen to their chatter.

Do Not Open Anything That is Closed or Close anything That is Open:

This includes gates, doors & anything on hinges.

Stay Out of Fenced Areas

Stay our fenced areas and they are always hot.

CHILDREN MUST BE ATTENDED AT ALL TIMES.

We love curiosity and free range children but children must be attended by the adult they came to the homestead with at all times.

We would love to share the homestead and answer all the questions and provide tours whenever requested.
